ImpactHouse Launches Advocacy and Policy Influencing Programme

As civil society organisations (CSOs), raising our voices in the policy space is essential to our work. Whether the issues concern education, healthcare, gender equality, or the general well-being of the people, CSOs play a vital role in shaping responsive policies and ensuring government accountability on matters that directly affect millions of citizens.

This is why ImpactHouse Centre for Development Communication is proud to launch the Advocacy and Policy Influencing Programme, which is one of a series of courses designed to strengthen the capacity of CSOs to amplify social demands with precision and drive responsive, accountable governance across Africa.

Grounded in our focus on civil society and media development, the workshop combines practical tools – such as role-plays, case studies, and real-time strategy design – with proven advocacy frameworks. Participants will gain hands-on experience in crafting compelling messages, influencing policymakers, and developing evidence-based campaigns that deliver meaningful social change.

At ImpactHouse, we remain committed to bridging the citizen–government divide and supporting CSOs to shape policies that promote equity, justice, and sustainable development. To request a training schedule for your team, contact training@impacthouse.org.ng
